As your Representative, my work doesn’t stop after the Legislative Session (January-March).

I have been an active member of Legislative summer committees, participated in community educational events, and met with constituents to address YOUR needs. I’ve worked on issues such as mental health, childcare, housing, business regulations, quality healthcare, cannabis, reduction of childhood sexual abuse, suicide prevention, and professional licensing reform to enable workforce development.

I look forward to continuing to serve you and would appreciate your vote for re-election.

Taylor Rehfeldt

“South Dakota is a wonderful place to live. I grew up “west river” and have spent the last 14 years “east river”. My family and I enjoy every part of South Dakota from the nature of the Black Hills to vibrant downtown Sioux Falls to the beauty of the plains. I desire to build relationships with constituents by listening and creating positive changes. I have a strong and proven track record of effective leadership and the ability to positively influence others.”

Service

I am serving because of my family, friends, and colleagues. I learned the value of hard work from my first job at the Fireside Inn in the Black Hills.  Moving forward and making improvements is a core part of who I am. My values include loyalty, integrity, honesty, and acceptance of others. Those values are a result of relationships with my family and friends.

Corey and I are married and have three children, Flynn (8), Judith (6), and Tallie (almost 1). We love spending time with our family and friends. In the summer, you will see us camping at Lake Thompson, fishing, or enjoying downtown Sioux Falls events.

Thriving South Dakotans

We need healthy, educated, and thriving South Dakotans. I am a mom. I am a nurse. I am an educator. I have a true passion for health and education. Healthcare and education are two separate topics. However, their relationship is synergistic. We need a strong healthcare delivery system and a strong education program in order for our state to thrive.
