About Taylor

Taylor Rehfeldt is an experienced leader, compassionate nurse, and community advocate.

“South Dakota is a wonderful place to live. I grew up “west river” and have spent the last 14 years “east river”. My family and I enjoy every part of South Dakota from the nature of the Black Hills to vibrant downtown Sioux Falls to the beauty of the plains. I desire to build relationships with constituents by listening and creating positive changes. I have a strong and proven track record of effective leadership and the ability to positively influence others.”

Leadership Experience and Awards

I am proud to have diverse community leadership experiences. My involvement with my community has surrounded me with a network who cares deeply about Sioux Falls and South Dakota. As a legislator, I rely on experts and advocates to help me be a responsible policy-maker for our state.

Service
I am serving because of my family, friends, and colleagues. I learned the value of hard work from my first job at the Fireside Inn in the Black Hills.  Moving forward and making improvements is a core part of who I am. My values include loyalty, integrity, honesty, and acceptance of others. Those values are a result of relationships with my family and friends.
